The tightest 4 matches iv seen for a while in a Swans match……… although the RAC did take a 4-0 win on the night it was not a fair reflection of how close each match was…….. with only one not going to the 5th.

Summary and scores below :

1. David Simpson vs Sean Young 1-3 , hard fought victory for Sean, some great rally’s 
2. Robert Warner vs James Maskey 2-3 Some of the usual wizardry on show from Mr Warner but JM proved too strong in the end
3. Alex Eaton vs Callum Morris 2-3, first time I have ever been served up a doughnut in the first game, some unbelievable boast play from Alex. 
4. Uttara Raju vs Jill Campion 3-2 I missed this one as was on court but sounded incredibly close and was a real marathon. 
5. Robin Moore vs Laurence O’Mara – sadly called off due to Robin catching a bought of the flu.
